Raj Fernando, successful entrepreneur

Starting as a volunteer for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Raj Fernando recognized his natural ability to make wise investing and trade decisions. After he graduated from Beloit College (located in Wisconsin), Raj Fernando began his career working in the lowest position at the exact place he previously volunteered at. Applying long hours and hard work he was able to move from the lowest recognizable position to the highest position at Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

In 2002, he made the decision to open his own company. The company, Chopper Trading, was a success. He ran this company while he continued to work at CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange). In 2004, Raj Fernando decided to take a leap of faith and stop trading full time, so he could dedicate his time to running his own business. Some of the most prestige businesses that he worked with include:

*Nasdaq
*CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange)
*Eurex
*Cantor Fitzgerald-espeed
*ICAP-Broketek

In 2015, Fernando made the decision to sell his sweat and tears. He decided to sell Chopping Trading to a global leader in the finance industry – DRW.

He has also presented information by addressing international shareholders at the annual Rosenblatt Global Exchange Conference. This conference is considered an honor because of its exclusiveness.

This current year, he started up a new business idea. Scoutahead.com. This is an internet based development that will allow the most trusted and private information to be successfully delivered to companies and/or individuals, while staying completely private. Mr. Fernando feels that cyber security is an important factor in the world’s ability to transmit information while making sure information does not get into the wrong hands.
